Folks assumed that the iPad was gonna be the "end all be all" of personal computing. So when they found out that the iPad is gonna be just a niche product, they started slamming it. If you want full-blown computing, get a full blown computer. If you want a cool device that makes it easier to browse the web, view email, documents, pictures and video (and ALL of the other cool stuff devs are doing via the apps) then the iPad is what you want.
