Samson the makers of premiere Audio devices is set to make a splash with it’s new Video Recorder dubbed “Q3″.  This device is cabable of recording video at 640 x 480 resolution, althought I don’t see any references to HD quality I’m sure the video image is usable.  Lets face it even if you have have a HD video camera, sites such as Youtube don’t allow you to upload in HD quality, so your audience never gets HD quality. 

Sampson known for audio equipment is trying to take a way the bad audio stigma, that comes with these small video devices. Sampson’s Q3 has True Stereo Sound, which makes for a awesome device that can definitely make bad video much better with quality audio. 

This true audio is achieved by the Q3 having two condenser mics on-board, arranged in such a way that gives you the best stereo recording possible. When I see the Q3 it’s look clunky and futuristic but when you think about it, that could be an advantge when holding the device, it probably provides a better grip.  The unit also includes audio meters so you can set and monitor your levels as you shoot, this is an added plus when you look at the other video recorders that don’t give you any choice in the matter when it comes to audio settings.

Overall the Sampson Q3 looks like a winner although I predict that most will overlook the Q3 as a novelty because The Flip, and Kodak Zi units get most of the coverage and are seen in a lot of online circles.

This past weekend my father had some issues with his DSL providers email. I wanted to share with all of you how you should approach the same kind of issue. This podcast is short and from now on I think short and simple will be just good enough for all of us. I talk about getting two seperate email addresses so that you can use one for family and friends. Then use the other email for SPAM or signing up for things on the internet. Although these help you remember you will never be able to 100% stop SPAM.

It has come to my attention that there were a few people out there that actually downloaded this podcast. I was amazed to hear that cause honestly I was just producing the podcast for myself. I did no active advertisement except a link back here and there.

I’m working on the schedule right now looking to get something in place by the end of this week. I’m looking at doing the show Once a week like on Tuesday one week, then the next week Thursday that way I can alternate the show and keep it going instead of twice a week like I tried in the past.

2008 is gonna be great.

I’m sorry it took me 2 days to post the podcast from 8/6/2007. I was very tired on Monday night and didn’t finish editing the show as I normally do. So the next day I was going to edit the show and finish up. I did edit and finish up but then didn’t post it until today.

Over time I have talked about Internet browsers lots of times. I wanted to make sure that making a podcast about it I spoke up and advised more then anything else.
